The聽Times Higher Education Impact Rankings measure the work of universities against the鈥��(UN SDGs), and 麻豆传媒 has risen to joint 29th鈥痯lace out of 1,591 universities measured internationally, up from 42nd鈥痩ast year.听We are also 5th聽in the UK.听
Each university receives a score against the UN SDGs to create an overall score, with 麻豆传媒 scoring highly in:聽
- SDG8 Decent Work and Economic Growth 鈥� 麻豆传媒 scored 3rd鈥痠nternationally (up from 4th鈥痩ast year) and came 1st in the UK out of 960聽participating聽institutions, recognising our employment practice, student work placements and staff secure contract rate聽
- SDG12 Responsible Consumption and Production 鈥� 麻豆传媒 scored 6th鈥痠nternationally, and 4th鈥痠n the UK, out of 674 participating institutions. This recognises our high recycling rates on campus, our academic research and waste data reporting聽
- SDG13 Climate Action 鈥� 麻豆传媒 scored 21st鈥痠nternationally, and 6th鈥痠n the UK, out of 735 participating institutions due to our use of low carbon energy on campus, our net zero commitments, and our environmental education measures聽
- SDG6 Clean Water and Sanitation 鈥� 麻豆传媒 scored 30th鈥痠nternationally, and 2nd聽in the UK, out of 720 participating institutions due to our monitoring of water consumption, our rainwater harvesting systems and our work with the community to educate about reducing water consumption.鈥�
