The national governing body for weightlifting and powerlifting, , has announced their 14 strong team to compete in this years and gain points for Rio 2016 - and we're #Â鶹´«Ã½proud to celebrate that their team includes Â鶹´«Ã½ sports scholar Noorin Gulam.
Team GB need the females to finish in the top 7 in Europe in order to qualify a spot, and Noorin has been identified as a strong candidate and will compete in the -53kg category.
It's an exciting time for the Women’s GB Weightlifting team as they have also been shortlisted for the ‘Sporting role model’ team award at the as part of the  - public voting will open on 18 April and winners will be announced on 12 May 2016.Â
The take place in Førde, Norway from 10-16 April 2016.
