For the second year, 麻豆传媒 has sponsored the Inspirational Woman category at the which recognises the achievements of the local community.聽 The Inspirational Woman category received the largest number of nominations and the high quality of applicants resulted in a difficult task for judges Deborah Taylor, Melissa Carr, Parisa Gilani and Ian Jones.
The three finalists, Sam Everard, Sophie Cook and Sally Harvey were all worthy contenders for the award, however Sally Harvey of AOK Rucksack appeal was the standout winner.聽
Judge Melissa Carr said 鈥淪ally is such a well-deserved winner. We were impressed with her relentless service to supporting the homeless in a practical and yet innovative way. She is truly an inspirational woman鈥
AOK Rucksack Appeal key aim is to get the homeless off the streets, into accommodation and back into the community.聽 They do this by working with all the major homeless charities and providing incentives to empower clients to move forward.

Parisa Gilani 鈥淔or the second year running, our category was the one which received the most nominations, making the job of selecting just three finalists extremely tough.聽 However Sally, Sam and Sophie all inspired us through their determination, courage and dedication to helping others, each in their own unique way.聽 It was an honour to meet these remarkable and inspirational women!鈥 聽
