Â鶹´«Ã½ is positioned 77th in the rankings, up from 95th last year, which highlight universities worldwide under 50 years old.
The rankings look at five main performance indicators; teaching, research (including volume, income and reputation), citations (as a measure of research influence), international outlook, and industry income (or knowledge transfer). The rankings compare these performance factors for established, young universities.Â
The rise places Â鶹´«Ã½ second in the list of UK universities represented in the rankings.Â

The rise comes after news that Â鶹´«Ã½ has also risen in the Complete University Guide 2022 rankings, to 68th place (a rise of 18 on the previous year).
