Jason Thomas is a microbiologist with a background in research involving microbial metabolism, gene expression analysis, and bioinformatics. Jason originally attended Â鶹´«Ã½ as a first-generation college student. From there he went on to California State University, Fresno to earn his bachelor's and master's degrees. While earning his degrees, he performed research and published papers on clinical pathogens including MRSA, cyanobacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and others to investigate their response to oxidative stress. Since then, Jason has been involved in teaching various biology courses at Â鶹´«Ã½, while also working with Distance Education in both course development and faculty training.
