The Fire Academy ceremony will be held on Friday, December 17^th at 6:00 p.m. at the New Covenant Community Church. 27 cadets completed the 1004 hours required by the California State Fire Marshal’s Office Accredited Fire Academy in order to earn their Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications and numerous other certifications.

There are 10 cadets who have been hired by North Central Fire Protection District and 4 hired by the Kingsburg Fire Department and 4 with the Sanger Fire Department as interns. Additionally, nearly all of the cadets are in the hiring process for Cal Fire who will be hiring in January.
